• Welcome to Week 12!
    You have learnt what food is composed of and how our food choices over time influence our health and wellbeing. You also looked at the NRVs that define the amounts of nutrients and energy people need in order to best support health and optimal physiological functioning of our body.
    This week we will commence Module 5 Dietary Guidelines and Food Group System. We will look at how NRVs are translated into food and lifestyle patterns for the healthy people across all age and gender groups. These dietary goals and guidelines can be used by general public and health professionals to assess and plan healthy diets. We will look at both the Australian and Chinese Dietary Guidelines.
    First session: you will learn about Dietary Guidelines and Food Group System. 
    Second session: In this live session we will discuss what you have learnt in the course so far and will complete some activities to consolidate your knowledge.
