Welcome to the course! 

In the next 10 weeks, you'll be learning about traditional procurement paths, standard forms of construction contract and how contracts are tendered and formed. You'll also become familiar with the detail of express standard contractual provisions, and common law principles, with respect to time, payment and variations on  construction projects.  The course will also give you an in-depth understanding of the building and construction industry security of payment legislation that has been enacted to protect construction contractors from late and/or undervalued payments from their principals.

There will be several case studies for you to analyse so you won't just be learning theory - you'll be putting your knowledge into practice.
