The Goals of the course are to provide students with fundamental study and research skills required for undergraduate study in construction.

On completion of the course, students will be able to:

1.     Undertake independent academic research;

2.     Have the skills required to use the University IT, literature search systems and standard computer packages;

3.     Have the ability to undertake basic qualitative and quantitative research, suitable for university study; and

4.     Have the ability to communicate the findings of research as a written report.
