Accounting introduces the basic concepts and principles of accounting with an emphasis on the use of such concepts and use in financial management. The emphasis is on the use of these accounting concepts and principles in financial management. It focuses on the practical and functional nature of financial management from the perspective of financial accounting; management accounting, and financial statement analysis. You will become familiar with basic managerial accounting concepts such as budgeting. The course is set for students’ further learning other courses in areas of accounting and management.
