Course category2024 PPD Teacher Space-for Course Developed of 2024 PPD Task
Animal Physiology is a branch of biological science, which is not only a core foundational course in life sciences, but also an important foundational course for undergraduate majors such as animal production, veterinary medicine, and aquaculture in higher agricultural and forestry colleges. The task of Animal Physiology is to study and elucidate the functions and intrinsic regulatory mechanisms of various tissues and organs in animal organisms.
The content taught in the course of Animal Physiology mainly includes: mastering the basic concepts and principles of animal physiology, systematically understanding the normal physiological functions and mechanisms of various systems and organs in animals to complete their physiological processes, and knowing the regulatory mechanisms of major physiological functions. Through the study of this course, students will be able to master the basic mechanisms of structure, function, and regulation of various animal tissues and organs in animal husbandry production. They will be able to use relevant knowledge correctly and appropriately in animal production, diagnosis and treatment of animal diseases, and lay a foundation for scientific research in related fields.
